Daiquiri Joe LLC ("Daiquiri Joe," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect on daiquirijoe.com (the "Site"), how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.
Information you give us directly. If you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and whatever message you send us. If you join our email list ("the Krewe"), we collect your email address. If you place an order once online checkout is available, order and shipping details (name, shipping address, email, and order contents) are collected to fulfill your purchase.
Payment information. We do not store your credit card number or full payment details ourselves. Orders are processed through Shopify, our ecommerce and payments provider, which handles payment data directly under its own security standards and privacy practices.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we use analytics tools (currently Google Analytics) that automatically collect information such as your approximate location, browser and device type, pages viewed, and how you arrived at the Site. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies and does not identify you by name.
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser that help us understand how visitors use the Site. We use them for analytics and, after you place an order, to show Google’s optional customer review survey (see “Google Customer Reviews” below). None of the cookies on this Site are used to sell your information or build advertising profiles. You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time; the Site will still work, though some features may behave differently.
We use the information we collect to: fulfill and ship orders; respond to questions submitted through our contact form; send occasional marketing emails to people who've opted into the Krewe list (discount codes, new flavor drops, and recipes); understand how people use the Site so we can improve it; and meet our legal and accounting obligations.
We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone. We share information only with the service providers that help us run the business — currently Shopify (order processing and payments), Google Analytics (site analytics) and Google Customer Reviews (optional post-purchase surveys) — and only to the extent needed for them to provide that service. We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Daiquiri Joe, our customers, or others.
After you place an order, you may be invited to join Google Customer Reviews, a free program run by Google. Taking part is completely optional. If you opt in, we share your email address, order number, delivery country, estimated delivery date and the products you bought with Google, so Google can email you a short survey about your purchase. Your answers may be shown publicly as part of our seller rating. Google may use cookies and similar technologies to show the opt-in and collect your response, and handles this information under the Google Privacy Policy. If you don’t opt in, nothing is shared with Google for this program.
You can unsubscribe from Krewe marketing emails at any time using the link at the bottom of any email, or by contacting us directly. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all websites using Google's browser add-on.
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we collect, but no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. We can't guarantee absolute security, and any information you send us is sent at your own risk.
Our products are non-alcoholic, but the Site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we'll remove it.
Our Site may link to other websites, including Instagram, TikTok, and our payment provider. We aren't responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third-party sites, so we encourage you to review their own privacy policies.
We may update this policy from time to time as our business grows or as our practices change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
